Dr. Cynthia Cohen
Dr. Cynthia Cohen is a 2002 graduate of the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and has been working at Gardner Animal Care Center since August, 2002. As Tufts' 2002 recipient of the Valerie Bates Humanitarian Award, Dr. Cohen enjoys the role she is able to play within the family's human-animal bond. Participating in a human-animal bond-centered practice is largely why she entered the field of veterinary medicine. She enjoys the challenges of working up difficult internal medicine cases and is a strong advocate of the use of pharmacological intervention for pain management.
With three four-legged children, Dr. Cohen enjoys spending time with her family (human and animal), continuing her private practice as a Nationally Certified Sign Language Interpreter, reading and travelling.
